BARAHIMIZONG

Barahimizong is a significant festival celebrated by the Mangar community in Sikkim, typically observed in December or January. During this occasion, the Mangar people gather to pay homage to their forefathers and ancestral deities through various religious rituals and ceremonies. The celebrations are organized by the All Sikkim Magar Association and are recognized as a gazetted holiday in Sikkim.¹ ² ³
